Vanguard or Guardsvan?

There appears to have been a lot of senior management ambitious and strategic activity way out West College!

Apparently they already have a reputation for being in the vanguard of developments and practice in the way they use technology and how they identify technologies to enhance learning and teaching!
They are looking to grow the College's online and distance activities as they have identified an appetite among faculties! Is this a move to the "Good Life"?
However, we are advised that this really is a euphemism for less lecturer student contact and more of the FOFO approach to learning and teaching!
(If not aware of the abbreviation FOFO we're sure some of the longer service staff will advise!)
Interestingly the college SMT had a rescheduled presentation on counter terrorism! Not one to be postponed we would think!
However there is one item that should be of concern to staff and that is the implementation of job evaluation! With forms to be completed by the end of the month!
We were of the understanding that this was not supported by the EIS and if job evaluation is restricted to non-teaching staff then is there an equality issue in the West? Another West End question.....!
We have reported concerns over FEDRA before....!
