What about UHI?

The Correlate found it interesting that Griggs "avoided" the UHI Colleges!

Was this too scary a option for him?

The Correlate supports calls for the UHI Executive Office costs to be made available in the public interest!

the item below is from an email to The Correlate ....

"FE colleges who are UHI have their funding top sliced by UHI Executive by 51%,
What is this money being spent on?
How much more is going to be top sliced for all these new management positions required for the tripartite structure they are proposing which are now to include FE!
Another £160 000 (which the Principal of UHI James Fraser is paid)!

How much more are they going to top slice from the colleges who are UHI and who are increasingly seeing our front line resources (teaching staff who deliver the service) cut?

Why was £240 000 spent on the SFC funded Capita report which was supposedly “independent”  [as claimed] line managed by a UHI Executive Office employee?

Why are services being centralised in Inverness when the “vision” of a University in the Highlands and Islands was a federal collegiate academic institution consisting of 13 independent established colleges and research institutions?

and with an administrative centre known as Executive Office based in Inverness?

If UHI is the “benchmark” for regionalisation we should be exposing the cost of this so called admin centre!".
